PHOTOGRAPHY
Pyramids translating echoes into the sounds of the quetzal bird,
the sun creating an illusion of a snake descending to earth,
stone-carved images, and undeciphered hieroglyphic texts.
Monte Alban, Mitla, Chichen Itza, or Teotihuacan,
Uxmal, Palenque, Tulum or Coba,
these are the places where time does not seem to pass.
These are the places I have seen since another life,
there was a kind of timeless silence,
it is still there today,
a silence that speaks after more than 2,000 years.
